Reading Time: 1 minute

On Thursday, November 14, members of Harrisonville Emergency Services and Harrisonville Police Department visited Harrisonville Elementary School to drop off a new classroom security device. The departments donated sections of old fire hose, which would normally be recycled after being taken out of everyday use, that had been repurposed into door-sleeve devices used to prevent intruders from entering classrooms.
The video is narrated by Fire Chief Eric Myler and features Firefighter/Paramedic Tom Ratterman.
